New office project designed by Proiect Bucuresti!
PROIECT BUCUREŞTI currently designs an important office project. The project will be developed in the old centre of the city, in an architectural conservation area.
It is our intention for the above mentioned project to offer to the urban community a new business pole by providing state-of-the-art office and commercial amenities in a package that is both architecturally innovative and respectful to the value of the surroundings.

47 personalities
During the „Gold medals for the 47 personalities” gala, which took place at the Sector 2 townhall on the 1st of February 2009, Neculai Ontanu, the mayor and the archimandrite priest, Timotei Aioanei handed out awards to the most important personalities from different domains such as sports, art and culture, architecture and urban engineering.
Among the personalites that form this country’s elite, and their remarkable results that are reknowed both national and international, you will find Badea Dragos, engineer, Jugurică Constantin, ahitect, Iftode Alexandru, engineer, Manea Valeriu, urbanistic arhitect, Panaitescu Cornel, engineer, Slăvilă Marin, engineer, Tănăsoiu Emilia, engineer. All of them are important people in PROIECT BUCURESTI, that have contributed with their vast expertise in many investment projects and prognostics that had a huge impact on the development and modernization process of Bucharest and other cities.
This event was organised as an anniversery for contemporary personalities that put their mark on impoving the country’s image. The gala marks an important moment in the trasformation of Romania in a national modern state.

Monographic paper launch
Proiect Bucuresti (PB), the leader in urban and arhitecture design, lauched on their 55th anniversary, the monographic paper called "PROIECT de peste o jumătate de veac pentru Bucureşti" (Half a century project for Bucharest).
The volume,over a hundred page long, contains many visual elements and it presents, besides the company’s story, a part of history of the urban and arhitecture development of Bucharest. The paper reveals some unpublished aspects regarding the growth of Bucharest, especially on the construction of some major landmarks. The content is based on documents and stories from people who lived in those times, gathered and interpreted by the reknown writer, Mircea Caster.
The book lauching was organized in ‘Le Diplomate’ saloon, at Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel, in the presence of many important people in the arhitecture world and from the romanian business and political sector. The guest of honor was the mayor, Neculai Ontanu, who gave a speech in the opening and handed out a honorary plaque to Viorel Constantinescu, for the important contribution he had in the Bucharest renewal.

55th anniversary
Proiect Bucuresti (PB), the lider in architecture and urbanism design, celabrated their 55th anniversary on the 1st of January.
PB designed most of the important buildings in Bucharest, and also over 700.000 public homes; they development almost all the major projects in Bucharest in the last 55 years (avenues and streets, suspended and underground passages, the Dambovita river systematization); they projected important parks as the Circus Park, Tineretului Park and Carol Park. Based on their design projects there were built hospitals, schools and kindergartens; half of the water supply system and almost all the sewing system was projected by PB. Today, the 200 professionals in architecture, urbanism, structures, HVAC, topography, geotehnica and environment studies, working for Proiect Bucuresti, design every year million dollar projects.
The full range of services provided by PB are: topography, cadastre and geotehnic ,architecture and urban design, structure and complex installation systems (sanitary, electrical, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning), that are grouped and coordinated in a certified system of quality.
