The development period: 2005

The Red Dragon ensemble was designed to be a complex of many stores adjoined with other service units in a mall type system, on a 280.000 sqm area, in Dobroiesti village, located in Ilfov. Taking into consideration the magnitude of this project (over 500 stores), there has been developed a central zone from which the distribution will be done from left to right, to all the store.

The main hall is organized as a open atrium on three levels, covered with a elliptic shape light source, that gives a spectacular look. The inserted ceilings are cut in the same form, and on the center there is a link between two circulation branch points. On this link there where placed two panoramic elevators which connect the ground floor to the third level. The access to the first level is also provided by two escalator stairs. From the second and third floor, you can access the offices and conference rooms.

The central zone architecture is matching that of the facade, containing curtain type ornaments.

Development period: 2003

The construction is built on a 6.000 sqm rectangular shaped area, with sides of 100 m and 60 m. The shop has a commercial surface of 1.030 sqm, a cashiers area of 81.40 sqm and a warehouse built on 182.80 sqm. The same area will include technical spaces: thermal power station, hydrophore, electrical panel, additional spaces for clients and personnel, surveillance room.

The holding structure is diverse: prefabricated pillars made of armored-concrete, positioned in glass type foundations and metal beams, on 4,50 and 6,40 m side spans, with an opening of 20 m. The perimeter closings were designed with sandwich panels with hidden anchorage. The covering – sandwich panels.

The construction is built with aluminum showcases with double-glazed windows, and the ALA shelter is placed independently under the parking area, with diaphragms made from armored-concrete.
